Just one small catch, there is no snow! But with the help of a new friend, they find a very special way to have fun in the snow. They want to sled and build snowmen and enjoy the snow. This time Pinkalicious and her brother want to go out and play. Nothing less.Īnd with Pinkalicious and the Snow Globe the hero of Victoria Kann’s series has another adventure, too. However, this is just a fun book for Frozen fans. If you are not a fan (and I know a few moms and dads who are not), great news! There are no annoying songs! Just some lovely stickers! I could go on about the details I disliked (such as Anna’s hair was too blond and therefore, her “Anna-ness” gets lost in the shuffle). The Walt Disney Company made a mini Frozen story that takes the reader along with their favorite princesses, snowmen, caribou, Kristoff and human Sven (or is that the other way around?) and put them on a new snowy adventure. Two books that came across my desk recently were the titles The Froze Monster (A Disney Frozen book) and Pinkalicious and the Snow Globe. They are inexpensive and have a great mixture of text and illustrations (or even photographs). These are great little books for “stocking stuffers” or “Easter Basket fillers” or even when you are looking for a “little something” as an everyday treat. Even though there are no major “kid holidays” coming up, there is always time to read those fun little books that come in that 8 x 8 sizing.
